Class 2 enjoyed their fantastic trip to the Upottery Airfield Heritage Centre. The children were excited to see original WW2 Nissen huts, wear authentic uniforms and learn all about the troops, especially in the minutes they took off and flew to Normandy! It really brought their WW2 history topic and diary writing to life!
