As part of the KS1 RE unit of 'Belonging', the children acted out a Christian baptism and a Christian wedding to show how people can belong to a religious faith.
The children took on the different roles for each of the ceremonies, and Rev. Jane told the children about what happens at each ceremony and the promises that the participants and their families make. The children explored how this makes people feel as if they belong to the family of Christianity.
